ABOUT ME:
I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and been a Licensed MFT for over 14 years now. My main work has been with families with multigenerational traumas and lack of resources and supervising clincians who do the same type of work. It’s a part of my value system and belief in a wholistic approach, as well as a respect for the humanity and dignity in the most challenging of times. Highlighting the intrinsic goodness and wisdom that each soul possesses.
I’ve been a student of the Diamond Approach for over 20 years now, a psychospiritual path that centers around inquiry into the freedom of being what you are. I’m an amateur photographer, dancer and musician. An astrology dabbler.
I’ve never particularly loved the term wounded-healer, maybe life-learner would be a better way to put it. I’ve been interested and tranversed the inner psyche since I was a young teen, out of necessity and natural interest. Navigating traumatic events with the support I’ve received from family, “professionals”, and the mysterious grace of the soul, the life that wants to thrive. I couldn’t be more grateful and understand times when we get disconnected from that which we are.
